DIY: Detoxing Body Oil

With a surface area of around 2 square metres, the skin is our largest organ. That's why it's so important that we switch to natural care, especially when it comes to body products. The perfect start is a body oil with just two completely natural ingredients. With a few drops of essential oils, your homemade oil becomes an aromatherapy ritual for every day!

The Recipe


In Indian Ayurveda, sesame oil has always been regarded as a warming, cleansing oil that is particularly well absorbed and regenerates the skin. Macadamia oil nourishes and softens the skin.

Grapefruit essential oil boosts the metabolism and tones the connective tissue, while rosemary stimulates the circulation and helps the body to rid itself of toxins. The fresh, invigorating scent of the oils energises you for the perfect start to the day!

It's that simple:

1. Pour 50 ml of sesame oil into the bottle with 50 ml of macadamia oil using a small funnel.
2. Drizzle 15 drops of grapefruit essential oil and 5 drops of rosemary essential oil onto a spoon and add to the bottle.
3. Close the bottle and roll it back and forth between the palms of your hands so that the oils mix well. That's it!


Application: Massage thoroughly into damp skin in the morning after showering and enjoy the scent of the revitalising essential oils.

Shelf life: 6 months. Please ensure that the oil is stored away from sunlight. No water should get into the product, otherwise the oil could germinate.
